Knightsbrook Golf Club
Designed by former Ryder Cup Legend Christy O’Connor Jnr this challenging and incredibly creative course enjoys a stunning location with views over undulated fairways, testing greens and demanding water features. The clubhouse is spacious and contemporary with luxurious locker rooms, a well-stocked golf shop and Gulliver’s Bar where you can enjoy a bite to eat after a long day on the greens.
Nestling at the base of the Historic Hill of Tara in the Royal County of Meath, Royal Tara Golf Club is one of Ireland’s most enjoyable golfing retreats. Boasting a 27-hole complex and being renowned for its welcome to visitors, it was no surprize when Royal Tara was selected to host to the 2013 All-Ireland Cup & Shield Finals. Royal Tara is reputably one of the finest inland golf complexes and the goal of the club is to provide the highest standards of excellence in all areas.
A magnificently fashioned golf course offering 18 challenging holes of play set against the backdrop of the rolling drumlins of Co. Meath. Spectacular water features reflect tree-lined horizons, generous greens and wide fairways. History embraces the creativity of this modern course design.
The 130-acre estate contains two ring forts dating from pre Christian times and a mote inside which Anglo Norman knights built a wooden fortress to protect the territory wrested from the hands of the native Irish.
A round at Rathcore is something special. The sculptured course is a place of natural undulating beauty. Enhanced by a tree lined horizon of oak and furze then punctuated by six stone lined spring water lake lets. The O'Meara Course, designed by two-time major winner Mark O'Meara, is a classic parkland experience which meanders through acres of glorious pastures, ancient woodland and skirts the banks of the River Rye.
The Montgomerie Course, designed by 7 times European Order of merit Winner Colin Montgomerie, is a 7,300 yard "links style" journey across sweeping firm fairways cavernous bunkers and impeccable greens. It has hosted some of the world's finest golfers through multiple Irish Opens.
